Circular itinerary of medium difficulty that crosses the high plateau between the Cámaras and Aguasvivas rivers, passing by the Moneva reservoir. Here it is going to be described starting from Moyuela, although the route can also be started from Moneva or Azuara.
From Moyuela, the route heads north, passing by the old icehouse, which has been completely restored. Following the bed of the Campillo de Mélida ravine, you reach Azuara. To leave Azuara, briefly take the A-2306 road, and shortly after, a track that connects with the access road to the Moneva reservoir. We will be able to access the dam going up and down the same route. The return from Moneva to Moyuela is a slight climb through agricultural land.
It is essential to carry water. The only fountains on the route are in Azuara, Moneva and Moyuela.
Avoid days of cierzo (strong wind from the west) and where you might experience too much sun exposure (e.g. maximum summer sun)
The route can be started in either of the three towns.
